Named in honour of a pivotal date, March 23rd 1895, Nettie 23 commemorates the historic, first official women’s football match. This ground-breaking event was organised and led by none other than Nettie Honeyball herself, the inspirational figure behind our brand’s name. At a time when women were yet to be granted the right to vote, Honeyball organised the first official women's football match this bravery was extraordinary, a courage amplified by the passing years.

When designing the bottle for “Nettie 23”, we intentionally chose a unique oval shape, somewhere elegantly between rectangular and round. Its subtly concave sides and exclusively curved lines give the bottle a striking visual depth, appearing angular yet devoid of any straight edges. This design not only pleases the eye but also makes the bottle a joy to hold and appreciate.

Complementing this distinctive design, the black bottle cap is shaped like a vintage hat, reminiscent of popular fashion accessories from the past century, accentuating the fragrance’s classic appeal, as seen Below. 

The label of “Nettie 23” continues this refined yet nostalgic aesthetic. Prominently featuring the year “1895” on the front, it pays homage to that historic match, while the reverse side proudly lists the names of all the pioneering women who participated that day, immortalising their legacy, as seen below

Attention to detail extends even to the spray mechanism. “Nettie 23” features a high-end aluminium-coated nozzle with a dual-fluid atomiser and an invisible suction tube, premium components typically reserved for fragrances priced over £100.
